Toxic Ingredients in Antiperspirant, that affects Brain Health, and is known to cause Alzheimer’s.

Aluminum, a common ingredient in deodorant and antiperspirant, is often linked to Alzheimer’s and brain disorders and is a possible risk factor in breast cancer.

In a culture where being well-groomed and attractive are almost a necessity, dependence on deodorant and antiperspirant is a must. But few know the health hazards present in the everyday underarm cosmetic. Dry skin care can be a problem if you have eczema. Dry skin is prone to itching. For those with eczema, scratching only makes it worse. But there are some things you can do to help dry skin and itching.

Bathing moisturizes, yet also dries the skin. Bathing really moisturizes your skin, however, once you dry your skin off, the little bit of water that is left on your skin starts to evaporate. Your skin then can become too dry and crack.

Have you ever used a soap that just didn’t lather or that left your skin feeling tight and dry? The reason for this is poor formulation of the soap base itself.

Here’s the scoop on formulation (and you don’t need to like chemistry to read on…) Soap is the result of a full chemical reaction in which a section of an oil molecule (a fatty acid) attaches to a sodium ion. By choosing oils that have specific molecular properties (that is, the right fatty acids) and blending them in the right proportions, we can create the results we want in the final bars.
