Everyone has a dream. Not everyone gets out and makes their dream come true. But entrepreneurs do. The kid selling lemonade by the sidewalk is an entrepreneur. So were the founders of the nation’s major industries. In between the lemonade stand and the executive board room there are thousands of people who get ideas and try to work their idea into a successful business.
Dr. Ali A.B.Y Muhammed,DD is an entrepreneur in the classic sense of the word. He began selling various products after school in New York City, things that he could get a deal on and make a little on resale down by Fulton Fish Market and 42nd Street. He was a fast-talking underage
street vendor, without a vendors permit. But he had an idea. “I wanted to cut out the middleman,” he said, “by making my own products.” And the one thing that sold well and could be manufactured easily were health and wellness products.

The television commercials are brilliantly-crafted fusions of dancing plum fairies waving wands of calorie-free pixie dust. The advertising slogan is legendary; a perfectly penned typeset tap-dance that’s been delicately dusted with the sweet, sweet overtones of sugary goodness for all those wise enough to jump on this now billion dollar bandwagon. You’ve got to hand it to the marketing efforts that continue to fuel the sales of Splenda®.

This unheard of and seemingly overnight success has crowned Splenda® the number one selling branded sweetener in the United States. It is available in over 80 countries and can be found in more than 4,000 products. But in light of its mainstream recognition, a number of questions have yet to be answered. Is it natural? Is it safe? Has the  public been duped into believing that this “chemical” sweetener might actually be healthy?  What aren’t they telling us?

Organic – any product that was grown or created without the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizer, hormones, antibiotics, or artificially-derived chemical additives. Organic plant products do not allow for genetic engineering or the use of radiation. Organic wines do not have added sulfites, only naturally-occuring, trace amounts. Chamomile Flowers (Matricaria recutita)
A member of the daisy community used to treat dermatitis, minor skin irritations, and inhibits inflammation. In one study it was found that chamomile was 60% as active as a topical corticosteroid cream. Another study using patients with atopic dermatitis, it was found to be nearly as effective as hydrocortisone. German herbalist called it alles zutraut which means “capable of anything”.
